Veterans of Valor is a nonprofit team specializing in helping veterans and their families understand the process to receive the Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefit. This little known tax-free benefit has been around since President Truman created the pension to reimburse veterans and their spouses for money spent on assistance with activities of daily living.
Veterans of Valor was created by the Alleman family in 2017. The Alleman's have created a special team that will guide the veterans and family through the application process, and consult with the families to assure all requirements are met prior to the submission to the VA. Qualified Client Care Managers make themselves available 24/7 to answer questions.
Shawn’s family has a long-standing commitment to this country and our veterans. His grandfather joined the Army in 1952, and his father joined the Army in 1966. Shawn had the distinct honor to be his grandfather’s guardian on an Honor Flight on the 3rd of May 2016.
The Veterans of Valor team is comprised of professionals such as a Certified Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a Certified Long-Term Care Consultant (CLTC), Client Care Managers (CCM), and a financial advisor with 32 years of experience.
Representatives from Veterans of Valor work with veterans and/or their family to align income and expenses in accordance with VA requirements.
Moving into assisted living, in-home care, or a skilled nursing facility is a serious decision for both the veteran and the family. Let Veterans of Valor and their consultation team make this transition as easy as possible. You served our country, now let Veterans of Valor educate you on the qualifications of this tax-free benefit.
